FRESCO is a huge sound fresco made up of five wind and brass marching bands, for a total of 300 musicians.
They start calling each other and getting closer and closer, coming from mysterious, different places.
Like enormous music animals they get together around a center, a sort of symbolic “piazza”.
In fact we can imagine a game among five districts of a city, like the old Siena ” rioni” in the Palio.
Or better in this case among the five scandinavian countries.
Every orchestra will use music derived from one of the national anthems, here and there audible.
These amazing walls of music communicate and remain in sync despite distances of 50 and more meters.
Then they start moving in spiral circles focusing faster and faster towards the center of the ” piazza”.
And there…. something happens.
